We’re looking for an enthusiastic, relationship‑driven Area Fundraiser to join our brilliant Fundraising & Communications team - and help grow the income and community support that makes our work with children and families possible. At Jessie May, we provide specialist nursing care, emotional support and respite for children with life‑limiting conditions across Bristol, Bath & North East Somerset, South Gloucestershire and Wiltshire. Our work helps families spend precious time together at home, creating memories that matter. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves connecting with people, building partnerships, and delivering outstanding supporter experiences. Home‑based, with travel across the Jessie May area and time at Charlton Farm 35 hours per week, with some evening and weekend work.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Develop and deliver a fundraising strategy for your area
  • Build strong relationships with local businesses, schools, community groups and individual supporters
  • Inspire supporters through presentations, events and community engagement
  • Provide excellent stewardship to ensure supporters feel valued and connected
  • Represent Jessie May across the region, raising awareness of our work
  • Support and empower volunteers to play an active role in community fundraising
  • Maintain accurate financial and administrative records in line with charity standards
