Based in the Safe Room at Carlos Place and supporting the UK retail business, the Inventory Quality Control Specialist is responsible for ensuring the physical quality, proper storage, handling, and presentation of all stock within the retail environment. Reporting to the Inventory Control Manager, the role sits within the Inventory Control team and acts as the quality control authority for stock in the UK retail environment.
The position focuses on preventative quality control, ensuring that stock is correctly handled, stored, presented and prepared for movement, while maintaining alignment between physical stock and ERP records. In addition to this primary QC focus, the role operates as a fully integrated member of the Inventory Control team, supporting core stock control activities and contributing to overall team flexibility and continuity.
- Complete physical quality control checks on all stock entering and leaving the retail environment (including store transfers, loans, photo shoots and other stock movements).
- Ensure correct use of storage systems, trays, packaging and protective materials within the safe room and stores.
- Provide feedback to management on recurring issues or risks to stock condition.
Deliver on-the-ground training and guidance to retail and product-handling teams. Work with Production and Workshop teams to resolve cross departmental QC issues impacting retail stock. Review and improve processes relating to stock handling, storage, packaging.
