Purpose of Position
We are continuously looking to connect with exceptional retail talent of all levels who have a genuine appreciation for high jewellery and are inspired by Jessica McCormack to explore opportunities across our London locations. The Client Advisor is responsible for their own driving sales to meet expected targets, enhancing the client experience, strengthening client relationships, and maintaining luxury retail standards through operational excellence. The role will require development of a client book, building sales leads through proactive clienteling, and ensuring opportunities are captured and progressed with pace, precision and discretion.
Partnering closely with the Store Manager(s), the Client Advisor contributes to a consistent service culture across the team, providing expert guidance on complex client journeys, including bespoke commissions, high-value acquisitions, repairs/aftercare and sensitive client requests.
Responsibilities
- Client Leadership & Relationship Stewardship
- Own and develop a portfolio of priority clients, ensuring consistent, high-touch outreach and exceptional retention.
- Build long-term relationships with prospective clients through strategic follow-up, considered recommendations and a deep understanding of personal style.
- Sales Performance & Trading Cadence
- Drive and exceed sales targets through proactive pipeline development, appointment conversion and repeat-purchase cultivation.
- Take a strategic approach to maximising both existing and new client opportunities, balancing immediate trading with longer-term collecting journeys.
- Monitor client pipeline status (probable/possible), progressing opportunities with structured next steps and clear ownership.
- Support daily commercial rhythm by sharing updates on enquiries, appointments, client activity and sales.
- Bespoke, Workshop Partnership & Aftercare
- Lead client management for bespoke commissions: collaborate with relevant departments on bespoke creations from start to finish.
- Liaise closely with Design, Workshop and Production to protect craftsmanship standards, accuracy and client confidence.
- Store Standards & House Excellence
- Maintain exceptional showroom readiness and presentation, implementing VM guidelines and ensuring jewellery is dressed and displayed to standard.
- Ensure the house is always ready to host clients: calm, welcoming, organised, and aligned to luxury hospitality expectations.
- Identify operational opportunities to improve efficiency, elevate service consistency and strengthen the retail culture.
- Business Development & Brand Outreach
- Nurture relationships with local businesses to broaden outreach and create referral pathways aligned with the brand.
- Develop relationships with potential partners and communities to generate future sales opportunities and culturally relevant exposure.
Qualifications and Experience
- Significant experience in luxury retail sales, with minimum 3 years in fine jewellery sales (or closely aligned luxury category), ideally with high-value client portfolios.
- Strong track record in building and converting pipeline opportunities through relationship-led clienteling.
- Confidence managing bespoke commissions and collaborating across internal specialist teams.
- Jewellery education/training (e.g., GIA) is a plus; supervisory experience is an advantage.
