A great opportunity has arisen for Factory Team Members to join our successful team here at Hotter. Hotter, which has been based in Lancashire since 1959, has over 60 years experience in the Footwear industry and each pair of shoes is crafted to the highest possible standard.
As a Factory Team Member your main duties would include:
- Ensuring that the machinery is fit for operation at all times
- Ensuring that lasts are prepared in size order to run in sequence on the moulding machine
- Ensuring that the lasts are clipped onto the machine in the correct manner
- Removing moulded lasts from the machine and ensuring that all footwear produced meets quality standards
- To demonstrate a determined approach in order to meet deadlines and quality
- To adhere to quality control standards and procedures at all times
Other Duties will include:
- To practice good Health & Safety procedures within the production environment
- To practice good housekeeping at all times
- To observe all Health & Safety rules and best practices and report any instances of non-compliance to Team Leader
- To contribute and encourage improvements to healthier and safer methods of working
