Ekte Nordic Kitchen is a Nordic restaurant within the Bloomberg Arcade in the city near Bank and Cannon street station. We are currently looking for a Senior Chef de Partie. The successful candidate will be open-minded, ambitious, energetic and ready to learn. Previous experience in Nordic cuisine would be an advantage but not necessary.
Responsibilities:
- Mise en place and setting up your section for service.
- Ordering and stock rotation.
- Following instructions from the Head and Sous Chef during service.
- Running service occasionally on quieter shifts when Head and Sous Chef is off.
- Producing food following recipes and instruction.
- Ensuring all procedures in your section are in line with the company’s food safety rules.
- Cleaning and closing down your section.
