1 Lombard Street is a European brasserie situated in the heart of the city. It was opened 20 years ago and has remained the leading restaurant in the city. We are currently looking for a Pastry Chef to join our busy team. The successful Pastry Chef must have previous experience running a busy section on a daily basis. Must be ambitious, energetic and passionate about the job. Be able to work independently, producing dishes agreed with the Head Chef. Must have previous experience in a high volume establishment.

The role involves working with the Head and Sous Chefs in menu planning, developing new dishes and running the pastry section on a daily basis.

Duties Include:

  • Production for the menu and events
  • Managing staff
  • Ordering and stock rotation
  • Ensuring all procedures in the section align with the company's food safety rules
  • Developing dishes alongside the Head Chef
