Ekte Nordic Kitchen is a restaurant situated in the Bloomberg arcade in the middle of the city. We serve classic nordic dishes using seasonal British produce. All our food is prepared daily on the premises. We are currently looking for a Head chef / Kitchen manager to join our busy team for the re-opening of our large terrace and eventually inside.

Job Requirements

  • The successful applicant will be open-minded, ambitious, energetic and ready to learn.
  • You will have to be very organised and calm under pressure.
  • Previous experience in high volume is a requirement and experience in catering and production is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reporting to the GM and Executive chef on a daily basis.
  • Ordering and stock rotation.
  • BOH paperwork and stock takes.
  • Keeping on top of bookings and events.
  • Making sure Health & safety procedures are followed to our existing 5-star standard.
  • Overseeing and taking part in the daily food production following recipes and instructions.
  • Ensuring all procedures are in line with the company’s Food safety rules.
  • Staff management on a daily basis, including staff rotas, training and guidance.
