Key Responsibilities
- Accurate Recording: Handle goods inwards and outwards with precision.
- Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer experiences consistently.
- Documentation: Ensure all tasks are carried out and documented as the need arises.
- Health & Safety: Follow and communicate H&S guidelines to non-stores staff and visitors.
- Inventory Management: Receive, securely store, and issue goods while maintaining inventory systems accurately.
- Stock Replenishment: Keep shop stocks well-supplied.
- Teamwork: Work as part of a team to deliver efficient and effective service.
- Service Levels: Maintain agreed service levels for the Retail business.
- Professionalism: Adhere to stores policies and procedures at all times.
- Customer Collection Desk: Provide customers with an exceptional experience.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks.
- Knowledge and experience of store keeping or a willingness to learn.
- Understanding or willingness to learn stock control and electronic inventory management systems.
- Strong organisational and planning skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Education and Experience
- Essential: Educated to ‘GCSE’ level, outstanding customer service skills, physically fit.
- Desirable: Working knowledge of stock control and inventory systems, previous experience working in a stores or similar environment, health & safety training, medium goods driving licence, counterbalance forklift licence (training will be provided), VNA forklift licence (training will be provided).
