In the role of Service Delivery Resource Scheduler, you will plan and coordinate work for industrial teams and contractors. You will make sure resources are used efficiently and stay adaptable to shifting operational needs. You will apply scheduling systems and data analysis to improve workforce capacity, detect efficiencies, and aid the successful delivery of planned and reactive work across multiple projects.
Key Responsibilities- Create, monitor, analyse, and maintain work schedules to support effective delivery of operational activities.
- Ensure field staff and contractors are allocated work to their full capacity each week through the CMMS platform.
- Generate work orders to address gaps in programmes and maximise workforce productivity.
- Allocate personnel and scheduled work orders to suitable teams in coordination with Engineers and Team Leads.
- Manage the distribution of tasks to industrial teams and contractors according to available capacity and operational priorities.
- Process schedule updates accurately and promptly, generating new work orders and activities within CMMS to account for reactive changes.
- Monitor daily schedule performance, identifying critical activities, assessing progress against forecasts, and recommending corrective actions where required.
- Analyse the impact of site delays and reactive faults, adjusting schedules and reallocating resources to maintain service delivery.
- Maintain proactive communication with collaborators to ensure visibility of schedule changes and operational priorities.
- Review labour bookings regularly to ensure work is recorded against the correct activities, durations, and rates.
- Drive operational efficiencies by monitoring workforce performance and identifying unproductive or lost time.
- Produce benchmark analysis and performance insights to support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental requirements, company procedures, Distribution Safety Rules, and industry standard guidelines.
- Support process improvements within the CMMS system as agreed with Senior Engineers.
- Perform administrative tasks within CMMS as necessary.
- Work collaboratively with other Resource Schedulers to promote consistency and continuity across the Energy Division.
- Previous experience in scheduling, planning, resource coordination, or workforce management.
- Experience using CMMS platforms or equivalent resource scheduling systems.
- Strong organisational abilities with the capacity to handle several priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Strong IT abilities and assurance in working with digital systems and data.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of establishing positive working relationships across all levels.
