Reuse Retail Assistant (full & part time)
Salary: £12.21 per hour
Hours: 42 hours per week – Full Time
23 hours per week – Part Time
Location: Allington Household Waste Recycling Centre, ME16 0LE
As a Reuse Retail Assistant at FCC Environment, you’ll play a vital part in the day-to-day running of our Reuse Shop, working closely with a dedicated team to help us meet sustainability goals and deliver outstanding customer service. You’ll be handling donated goods, creating attractive displays, and ensuring health and safety standards are upheld – all while supporting our mission to reduce waste.
These vacancies are for permanent positions, working on a rota basis for an average of 42hrs & 25hrs per week. Weekend work will be required.

What will you be doing?
• Assist in the day-to-day operations of the Reuse Shop
• Organise, prepare, price, and present donated goods for sale
• Deliver efficient and polite customer service
• Load and unload collections and deliveries safely
• Ensure electrical items are visually inspected, function tested, and PAT tested
• Follow all health and safety procedures and promote a safety-conscious workplace
• Represent FCC Environment as a professional and approachable ambassador
• Work collaboratively within a small team to meet shop objectives
