At Jersey Electricity, we’re excited to offer an opportunity for a Home Technology & Appliance Service Technician to join our team. This role is all about delivering technical support to our customers, whether that’s installing new products, diagnosing faults, or providing expert advice. You’ll work with a range of appliances, IT equipment, and home entertainment systems, helping customers get the most from their purchases. Acting as an important link between our sales and service teams, you’ll play a key part in creating a smooth, positive experience for every customer.

Key Responsibilities- Installation & Setup
- Deliver and set up appliances, IT products, TV/AV, and other Powerhouse products in line with company standards
- Ensure all installations are carried out safely and meet required regulations
- Provide friendly, practical advice on upgrades or complementary products where appropriate
- Repairs & Technical Support
- Diagnose and repair faults across appliances, IT equipment, and TV/AV products
- Provide clear and accurate repair assessments, following manufacturer guidance
- Support customers both in their homes and remotely when needed
- Returns & Quality Control
- Test and troubleshoot faulty items before returning them to suppliers
- Share technical insights and support with the admin team to ensure accurate processing
- Customer Service
- Respond to service requests in a timely and professional manner
- Keep customers informed throughout the process and ensure a positive experience
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Good organisation and time management
- A logical, methodical approach to troubleshooting
- Confident IT skills, including Microsoft Office and relevant systems
