Cyber Fusion Lead
Location: Glasgow
Salary: £57-72K + benefits (15% bonus, private healthcare)

Scottish Power is embarking on a Cyber Security Transformation Programme. We\’re seeking a Cyber Fusion Lead to coordinate with the Global Cyber Fusion centre and UK ScottishPower businesses. This role will oversee the successful delivery, integration, and operation of tools and services provided by the UK CSIRT, Threat & Intelligence team, Vulnerability Management team, and Security Engineering team.
Key Responsibilities
The Cyber Fusion Lead will coordinate Security Services within the Cyber Fusion Centre, including Incident Response, Event Monitoring, Vulnerability Management, Security Device Configuration, Security Testing, Digital Forensics, Threat Intelligence, Threat Hunting, and Threat Reporting.
This role reports to the Head of Cyber Fusion Centre and requires collaboration with the Global Cyber Fusion centre and UK ScottishPower businesses. Effective communication and cooperation with other Group Cyber Security functions and Business Cyber Security teams are essential.
You will provide subject matter expertise to security strategies, ensuring maximum value from investments in Cyber Fusion tools. You will also define the strategic roadmap for the UK Cyber Fusion Centre, including tools, resources, and processes to evolve services and optimize investments.
Additionally, you\’ll coordinate security vulnerability identification services across ScottishPower, integrate with existing business processes, and develop security initiatives aligned with the Global Security Plan.
Furthermore, you\’ll define security programs, manage senior stakeholders, and work closely with OT security teams to ensure an integrated IT/OT security operations strategy.
Qualifications and Experience
- Extensive experience coordinating security services and implementing business requirements
- Relevant industry qualifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, GICSP)
- Experience in Security Operations within organizations of similar scope, preferably with global experience
- Knowledge of incident response, threat intelligence, and vulnerability management lifecycles
- Experience configuring and supporting security tools and services
- Experience managing security service providers and software suppliers
- Awareness of legislation impacting IT and OT Security in energy utilities
- Proven ability to contribute to Security Operations Strategies and Roadmaps
- Experience working with procurement, legal, and finance teams during project lifecycles
