Community Engagement and Investment Manager

What You\’ll Do:

• Develop and execute strategies to support communities in the clean energy transition.
• Collaborate with the Social Impact & Community Engagement team on affordability initiatives aligned with social impact goals.
• Manage performance and budgets of programs that assist communities during the clean energy transition.
• Engage with regulatory bodies community leaders and policymakers to promote best practices and implement energy affordability and clean energy transition policies.
• Develop metrics and implement systems for evaluating program effectiveness and compliance, collaborating with other teams to optimize resource use and track program outcomes
• Prepare updates and reports for senior leadership on program performance and risks.
• Use data-driven insights to recommend program enhancements.
• Build relationships with internal stakeholders, facilitate knowledge sharing across teams and represent National Grid at relevant events.

What You\’ll Have:

• Proven experience in program /project management, social impact initiatives, or clean energy, preferably within the energy, utilities or community support charity sector.
• A strong understanding of clean energy issues, regulatory frameworks, and best practices in community engagement.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence diverse stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to assess program effectiveness and make data-driven decisions.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, capable of managing multiple priorities and deadlines

What You\’ll Get:

Up to £71,000 dependent on experience.

As well as your base salary, you will receive a bonus based on personal and company performance with an on target of 15% (maximum 30%) and a competitive contributory pension scheme where we will double match your contribution to a maximum company contribution of 12%.
