Events Specialist – Global Sport Championship
This role is a key role in the evolution of this Global World Championship.
We are looking for a Events Specialist, as we seek to implement, improve and lead the planning and delivery of the allocated race events across the global championship calendar.
This role would suit someone from an event agency, live events, large-scale temporary venues or sporting event production background who wants to take ownership of complex race events within a growing international championship.
- Event Delivery Support
- Provide operational support for the global race events.
- Support the Events Manager as they allocated race events from planning through to live delivery, acting as the central point for departments, suppliers and stakeholders.
- Work with the Events Manager to support & coordinate the delivery of temporary event sites, including paddock areas, fan zones, sponsor areas, guest routes, operational spaces and site services.
- Manage onsite logistics, including staffing support for hosts and event workers.
- Act as a point of contact for agencies on travel, transfers, app management and staffing logistics.
- Track project timelines and actions to support seamless event execution.
- Stakeholder and Vendor Coordination
- Support stakeholder meetings and regional coordinator meetings, ensuring clear actions and project timelines.
- Coordinate with vendors for merchandise, giveaways and media production.
Experience & Skills
- Minimum 3-4 years’ experience in Event Management with a global events environments and structures.
- Experience of assisting the Event Manager for administrative and logistical tasks for global events.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Power Point.
- Strong attention to detail, time management and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work across global time zones and travel as required.

- Strong multitasking and prioritisation in a fast-paced environment preferably from a sport, Rights Holder environment
- Good project management and organisational capabilities.
- Clear communication skills.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality
