This is a newly created role, working closely and supporting the MD of a Sports World Championship. This role will suit a senior-level Business Manager with experience supporting executive leaders within a fast-paced, complex business, ideally in a sport, entertainment or management consultancy industries. You would have worked in extremely structured environments, whilst also benefiting from the experience of helping to implement structure into an unstructured start-up environment.
If you thrive in a start-up environment, enjoy working with diverse departments and stakeholders to implement commercial and productive processes and procedures, governance, strategic coordination, whilst project managing key strategic programmes and confidential information, this role will provide an opportunity to play a pivotal part in a Global Sports Championships continued transformation and growth.
A typical week will include:
- Coordinating strategic projects, Board papers, actions, briefing the MD ahead of key meetings and ensuring momentum across strategic workstreams.
- Leading the planning and documentation for the MD.
- Maintaining forward schedules of business, Board and investor activity.
- Managing and coordinating new strategic developments, processes and projects.
- Analysing various MI sources to provide insight to Business Head and senior stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Senior business management experience within a fast-paced, complex business.
- Strong understanding of strategic project management, coordination and business planning experience.
- Ability to manage projects end-to-end.
- Working with various functions and the business to propose and deliver solutions to improve broken processes, strengthen our controls and governance.
3 days a week in the office, in London.
Travel: Comfortable & able to travel to global race locations, as required by or with the MD.
