We're looking for a reliable and hard-working individual to join our team as a Casual Grounds Person at Dundee Crematorium. In this role, you'll help maintain our beautifully kept grounds, ensuring they remain a place of comfort and reflection for families.
The role
- As a Grounds Person, you'll carry out a variety of grounds maintenance tasks such as mowing, planting, pruning, and general upkeep.
- You'll also support with seasonal duties like snow clearing or leaf removal, and at times assist with memorial enquiries from families visiting the grounds.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain lawns, flower beds, and landscaped areas to a high standard
- Carry out routine tasks such as mowing, trimming, and planting
- Assist with pest control and weed management
- Support with seasonal work (e.g. winter preparation, snow clearance)
- Interact respectfully with visitors, supporting memorial-related queries
- Work flexibly across local sites if needed based on business requirements
