Why this role matters

The Senior HR Advisor is a key role in our HR team and will play a part in building a first-class HR function that supports our people and our business and contributes to the success of Jera Nex BP. This is an exciting opportunity to effect change in an evolving organisation. Help us as we create the DNA of Jera Nex bp!

We offer a 6-12 months fixed term contract. In this role you will:

  • Advise and coach leaders and line managers, providing expert advice and coaching on HR policies and processes, and driving a culture of high performance and engagement.
  • Deputise for HR Business Partners providing cover across the team and giving strategic support to senior leaders as required.
  • Manage complex case work including disciplinary, grievance, and sickness, flexible working and exits.
  • Support the HR Operations team with employee life cycle administration and the formulation and development of HR policies and contracts to ensure alignment with employment legislation and best practices.
  • Lead and support HR projects which focus on integration and evolving the HR function across L&D, performance, talent and engagement.
  • Provide data insights through reporting and analysis to inform business decision making.
  • Lead and support BAU processes such as the annual performance and reward cycle.

To be successful in the role you will bring:

  • Experience of working in fast paced agile environments, be a self-starter and enjoy operating with autonomy.
  • Ideas, enthusiasm, a passion for people and be a champion for employee experience.
  • Deep HR Generalist skillset including management of flexible working, maternity leave, complex case work, ER and exits.
  • Proven ability to develop and lead project work and pragmatic approach to problem solving.
  • Willingness to roll your sleeves up and support the team with HR administration during busy periods.
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills with the confidence to advise senior stakeholders.
  • Experience of working in a global company with European HR knowledge as desirable.
