The Portfolio Asset Manager acts as the owner's representative for a portfolio of offshore wind assets in operation. In this role, you are accountable for safeguarding long-term value through disciplined oversight of asset, financial, planning, contractual and commercial performance. You make sure each asset is managed in line with shareholder expectations, governance frameworks, and risk appetite. You also play an important challenge function to project companies, operators, and service providers, ensuring transparent, decision‐ready information is available to senior management and governance bodies.

In this role you will:

  • Monitor operational, technical, and financial performance of your assets, tracking key KPIs and spotting underperformance, risks, or trends affecting value.
  • Review and challenge OPEX budgets, forecasts, assumptions, and multi‐year cost outlooks to support cost discipline and long‐term value.
  • Oversee key contracts, check compliance, challenge performance and incentives, and support renewal or escalation discussions.
  • Prepare inputs for leadership and shareholder forums, ensuring reporting is timely, accurate, and consistent, and follow up on decisions and actions.
  • Track key risks, mitigation actions, audits, incidents, and control gaps, ensuring alignment with HSSE and broader risk frameworks.
  • Work closely with internal teams (Finance, Legal, HSSE, O&M, Technical, Risk, IT/data) and external stakeholders (project companies, partners, operators, Operations Engineering Managements, service providers, and when needed lenders/insurers).
  • Challenge performance, assumptions, forecasts, and proposals, escalating material risks or issues, and provide decision‐ready insights while operators remain responsible for day‐to‐day operations.
  • Deliver asset performance reports, dashboards, budget and forecast inputs, governance materials, and risk/issue tracking that support effective decision‐making.

To be successful in the role you will bring:

  • Minimum 5 years professional experience.
  • Operational background in offshore wind.
  • Financial insight to review OPEX, budgets, forecasts, and cost drivers.
  • Ownership and independence to challenge constructively and elevate issues when needed.
  • Open to frequent travel across JERA Nex bp locations.
