Why this role matters
As paralegal, you will be part of the Legal Function, supporting an international offshore wind business. You will report directly to the Deputy General Counsel and work closely with legal colleagues as well as corporate, finance, development and operational teams across multiple jurisdictions. The paralegal function is responsible for supporting strong corporate governance, entity management, efficient contract administration and legal operations across the JERA Nex bp group.
In this role you will:
- Corporate governance and entity management
- Support corporate transactions including entity incorporations, restructurings and governance implementation;
- Maintain statutory registers and organisational charts;
- Manage KYC/UBO obligations;
- Assist the CoSec team in preparing board and shareholder documentation;
- Coordinate legal formalities (including registrations, publications and apostilles) and liaise with notaries and external advisors.
- Contract management
- Manage contract administration and related correspondence;
- Draft and review NDAs and general terms and conditions;
- Maintain contract databases and correspondence.
- Legal and administrative support
- Conduct legal and regulatory research to support the Legal team and business stakeholders;
- Obtain publicly available corporate information;
- Maintain corporate administration systems;
- Support compliance monitoring and legal process improvement initiatives;
- Provide proactive support to the Legal team and business stakeholders on strategic initiatives, corporate transactions and governance activities as required.
To be successful in the role you will bring:
- A bachelor’s degree in Law, Legal Studies or equivalent qualification, or demonstrable relevant experience gained within a law firm or in‑house legal department;
- Minimum 4 years’ relevant professional experience.

- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail;
- Ability to manage a varied workload, prioritise effectively and adapt to changing business needs in a fast‑moving project and transaction environment;
