The job bit: To hit the ground / slopes running and start earning as soon as you land, we include a 4-6 month seasonal job with one of our 20+ summer or ski season employers. Summer jobs start in Apr / May and winter jobs in Nov / Dec.
- Typical jobs include working as a lift attendant, server, cook, barista, retail assistant or housekeeper – in locations including Whistler, Banff, Jasper and more.
The money bit: You can expect to earn £24/hour, with professional positions such as ski instructors, chefs and baristas earning more. Most of our employers also include subsidised staff housing, lift passes and rental – so it’s a great way to stay social, save your salary, and work on your skills.
The visa bit: To work in Canada, you’ll need to be eligible for an IEC working holiday visa. This allows 18-30 or 35 year olds (depending on your nationality) to work in Canada doing casual or career work for 1-2 years (again, depending on your nationality).
