Location: Onsite / Hybrid

As a Product Manager you will work across various teams, building products iteratively to drive growth while supporting our partners. You will deliver products and features that are commercially sound, meet the needs of our customers and are in line with our product and company strategy. You will lead with a commercial lens, be data focused, and drive value for our customers by activating existing products and enhancing our product offering. You will approach your role, colleagues and customers with a positive, adaptable mindset. People and stakeholder management at all levels of the organisation, effective communication, people management skills, pragmatism and the ability to be influential will be key to this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather and write product requirements based on product strategy, customer commitments and industry insights, assisted with AI where applicable.
  • Manage product budget, capacity and planning for your area, with support from our PMO.
  • Work closely with our partners and teams to focus on conversion optimisation and revenue generation for Datalex and our customers.
  • Manage, support and coach Product Owners with the backlog, writing and refining requirements as well as other product managers, ensuring dependencies are accounted for.
  • Work closely with the agile delivery teams to ensure an iterative approach and optimise the process as required to deliver valuable product, on time and on budget.
  • Take a pragmatic and commercial based approach ensuring the right things are prioritised and regularly report on product development progress.
  • Create and maintain product documentation that can be used by our customers and internal stakeholders to understand, in detail, our products and how to use them.
  • Train customers and colleagues on our products, support sales with the RFP process and be ‘the go-to’ person for your product areas.
  • Actively participate in customer workshops, understanding their needs and identifying opportunities for Datalex.
  • Build strong, positive relationships with internal teams, including engineering, commercial and operations.
  • Monitor competitors and industry news and share insights across the product function and the organisation.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years in a Product Manager role with experience in a B2B / enterprise environment, using agile methodologies.
  • Airlines industry knowledge is a big advantage.
  • Experienced working with a broad range of disciplines i.e. Engineering, Finance, Sales and Strategy.
  • People management skills that drive autonomy, accountability and success with your team.
  • Proven track record of taking ownership and driving positive outcomes for customers and the product.
  • A combination of technical and business acumen with the ability to influence others through strong, clear communication, while showing an adaptable positive mindset.
