At Kainos, we provide a proven track record of launching innovative and creative SaaS products designed to help Workday customers maximize their Workday investment. We are looking for Workday Extend Developers to help shape our future product offerings on the Workday platform. The role holder will join a Product team to focus entirely on innovating new products on the Workday platform. The team will identify, build, sell, and operate these new products until they become mature products. This role has been opened as a result of new Workday partnerships which includes the Marketplace, the AI Gateway, AWS integration and the ‘Built on Workday’ programme. These initiatives provide the technical and commercial framework for creating a thriving product ecosystem on the Workday platform. With this new team we want Kainos to become the leading Partner in the Marketplace.
You will use technologies and platforms including Workday Extend, AWS and AI. You will work within a small, collaborative team, contributing to the technical design and technical solutions for one or more new products. You will also work with our product team to help build out our customer‑focused roadmaps. You’ll be comfortable with a fast paced environment, creating proof‑of‑concepts and gathering user feedback to design solutions that challenge the problems faced by our customers and prospects. You’ll support your junior colleagues in all that you do by embodying the Kainos values. You’ll be passionate and committed to ensuring Kainos projects are successful. You’ll help build a community of practice in your specialist area.
Minimum (essential) Requirements
- Hands‑on experience developing Extend applications.
- Experience developing & coding within agile delivery environments.
- Experience with working with web service technologies (REST, SOAP).
- Clear and effective communicator, able to communicate with customers and colleagues with credibility, including in a remote working situation.
- Proficient with use of English language.
- Good commercial awareness and some understanding of project and business dynamics.
- Ability to plan own workload and meet deadlines.
- Able to apply all relevant standards and procedures to your own work, maintaining high quality and accuracy at all times.
- Aware of the importance of confidentiality and non‑disclosure policies and/or agreements and ensures security of information at all times.
DESIRABLE
- Obtained Extend certifications from an accredited body in your area of specialization.
- Obtained HCM certification.
