The role involves a fantastic opportunity for a motivated New Business Executive (Commercial) to join the team at the Jensten Group. You will mainly focus on new business, generating new clients and building pipelines with the aim of adding to the existing client base and increasing income.
- Offer and present insurance solutions including insurance policies and other risk management solutions to secure new business.
- Identify and pursue cross-selling, up-selling and similar opportunities.
- Utilise all leads provided by the company and develop new and efficient ways to increase the quote volume.
- Achieve or exceed the agreed volume of quotes/sales/income generated from all marketing sources including personal prospecting activity.
- Negotiate competitive terms with product/service providers to satisfy client requirements.
- Handle invoicing of all premiums due, including effective credit control where necessary.
- Understand clients’ business operations, opportunities and risks and their approach to risk management and insurance.
- Ensure compliance with local procedures, customer service standards and external compliance regulations, e.g. FCA.
About You: As one of our New Business Executives, you will be a proactive “go-getter”, constantly prospecting for new clients. You will build and strengthen relationships, conduct client visits where necessary and maintain regular communication. Your passion for providing solutions and flair for spotting opportunities will help both existing and new clients.
- Insurance background – especially in commercial (essential).
- Proven successful new business income generation with passion and flair for new business (essential).
- Great customer service and communication skills.
- Excellent telephone manner, able to network and build working relationships easily.
