We are recruiting a Marketing Executive to join our team on a 12-month fixed term contract. This role is to support the marketing function providing commercial support to the business as they aim to exceed their organic growth targets. Our marketing function is very much performance led, looking at key trends and data and ensuring a healthy funnel of enquiries for the business.
The purpose of this role is to support our stakeholder to better communicate the products and services that we provide to our key audiences. The role requires creative thinking, the ability to disseminate complex detail into simple and straightforward communications and the capability to multi-task.
Some key objectives & responsibilities will include:
- Create and execute marketing campaigns for the brands, within agreed timescales and with the purpose of identifying new leads and attracting new customers; in order to meet the strategic marketing objectives
- Engage with your stakeholders to manage projects and campaigns to ensure deadlines are met
- In co-operation with the wider Marketing function, understand the core proposition to enable you to oversee campaign content creation, including design, copywriting and proofing
- Track the success of campaigns, ensuring they are in budget and where appropriate making/suggesting improvements
- Use your analytical skills to regularly review and understand the impact of marketing activities to build on successes and learn from failures
- Spot opportunities to enhance the marketing offering to your stakeholders
- Share best practice with your team and be a role model to your team members
- Keep abreast of market trends across both retail and wholesale insurance spaces
- Where appropriate, liaise with external agencies to assist on agreed campaigns
- Ensure the Group’s brand guidelines are adhered to at all times
About you
As our Marketing Executive, you will need to be a creative thinker, have the ability to build good working relationships both internally and externally, to disseminate complex detail into simple and straightforward communications and the capability to multitask.
We are looking to attract somebody with proven experience of managing B2C/B2B campaigns, ideally within the insurance space (other sectors will be considered) and the ability to understand the proposition, products and services being offered.
You’ll also be or have:
- A marketing background and experience is essential, with insurance industry knowledge being beneficial.
- Excellent communication skills are essential, able to communicate with senior stakeholders
- Be extremely organised with a strong attention to detail and inquisitive about your stakeholders business area and goals, especially regarding strategic planning
- Have experience of creating and delivering marketing campaigns, website development, managing online presence and creating content relevant for the client base
- Strong IT skills with experience of GA4, SEO, PPC, and social media platforms
- Experience of creating content company website, social media, email campaigns and events
- The ability to plan and organise events
- Degree level educated and a Marketing qualification
