We have a fantastic opportunity for a motivated Cyber Development Broker to join the team here at the Jensten Group. You'll be based at our Central London office, and we offer hybrid working once settled into the role. Reporting to the Head of Technology, Media, Cyber & Science, the main purpose of the role is to develop the Jensten Cyber penetration, launching the cyber panel and broker New Business (NB) risks (Cyber) to the market. Even though there are some clients to work from and maximise opportunities with, the main aim is growth and to generate new business.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the Jensten Cyber Initiative
- Support the launch of the Jensten Cyber Panel
- Identify and pursue crossāselling, upāselling and similar opportunities
- Utilise all leads provided by the company and develop new and efficient ways to increase quote volume
- Carry out training and upskilling of Jensten brokers to increase Cyber knowledge and penetration
- Offer and present insurance solutions including insurance policies and other riskāmanagement solutions, with purpose to secure renewal and/or new business
- Achieve or exceed agreed volume of quotes/sales/income generated from all marketing sources including own personal prospecting activity
- Understand client's business operations, opportunities and risks and their approach to risk management and insurance
- Ensure compliance with local procedures, customer service standards and external compliance regulations, e.g. FCA
- Insurance industry background ā especially in Cyber (essential)
- Wholesale experience (essential), retail experience (nice to have)
- Strong broking experience with a demonstrable history of generating new business
- Experience of training and upskilling others on Cyber knowledge (ideally)
- Passion and flair for new business
- Great customer service and communication skills
- Excellent telephone manner, being able to network and build working relationships easily
- Drive and genuine passion to learn and develop within insurance and sales
- Acturis system knowledge (ideally)
