Occasional travel to London or Huntingdon required for team meetings. We’re looking for a dynamic, data-driven leader to shape the future of pricing and performance insight at Jensten Underwriting . Reporting directly to the Director of Underwriting, you will play a pivotal role in driving data-led decision-making across our underwriting strategy. Leading a team of pricing analysts, you’ll develop and implement models, tools and insight that enable us to balance sustainable profitability with commercial growth. This is a high-impact leadership role where your analytical expertise, commercial thinking, and collaboration skills will help us sharpen pricing decisions, improve underwriting performance, and ultimately drive smarter trading outcomes. Design and maintain pricing models to support rate reviews, pricing elasticity analysis, and loss ratio forecasting. Lead the development of performance management frameworks to monitor rate changes, product mix, and market movements. Partner with data engineering teams to structure data sources for effective use in modelling, forecasting and insight generation. Drive collaboration with our external actuarial providers to maximise value from their insight and recommendations. Produce regular management information and forecasting to support strategic decision-making. Strong track record in commercial insurance pricing or performance insight, within an MGA or underwriting environments. Confident communicator who can simplify complex data into clear recommendations for underwriting and senior leadership teams. Strong academic background in a numerate discipline such as Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, or similar. Growing organically and through strategic acquisition we now place over £700m GWP into the market via our retail insurance broking, Lloyd\’s and London Market broking, and specialist underwriting arms.
