We have a fantastic opportunity for a motivated Account Executive to join the team at Stirling Insurance, which is a part of the Jensten Group. You’ll be based from our office in Glasgow, and we offer hybrid working once settled into the role. Reporting to the Branch Director, the main purpose of the role is to look after an existing book of business, to retain and grow/generate new business. The book of business mainly consists of general Commercial clients.
Responsibilities
- Offer and present insurance solutions including insurance policies and other risk management solutions, with purpose to secure renewal and/or new business.
- Identify and pursue cross-selling, up-selling and similar opportunities.
- Utilise all leads provided to you by the company and develop new and efficient ways to increase the quote volume.
- Achieve or exceed agreed volume of Quotes/Sales/Income generated from all marketing sources including own personal prospecting activity.
- Understand client’s business operations, opportunities and risks and their approach to risk management and insurance.
- Ensure compliance with local procedures, customer service standards and external compliance regulations, e.g. FCA.
About You
As one of our Account Executives, you’ll be able to build & strengthen relationships easily, doing client visits (if and when needed) and staying in regular communication. You’ll have a passion for providing solutions and a flair for spotting opportunities that will help existing and new clients going forward. You will also be or have:
- Insurance industry background - especially Commercial.
- Passion and flair for new business, coupled with strong history of retaining clients (essential).
- Great customer service and communication skills.
- Excellent telephone manner, being able to network & build working relationships easily.
- Drive and genuine passion to learn and develop within Insurance and sales.
- Acturis system knowledge (ideally).
