We’re growing fast—and Oner Broker (part of the Jensten Group) is looking for a motivated and proactive Account Executive to join our thriving Commercial Broking team in Cambridge! While Jensten has recently celebrated becoming a 1,000‑strong organisation, our Cambridge office maintains a friendly and close‑knit team of over 40 colleagues. This opportunity sits within our successful and expanding Commercial department, where you will work as an Account Executive, supporting a diverse portfolio of Corporate Clients. You will initially be office‑based, with the option to move to a hybrid model (2 days in the office, 3 days from home) once training is complete. Free on‑site parking is available to support an easier commute.

Key objectives & responsibilities

  • Managing an existing book of corporate clients across the general commercial space with some focus on Life Science & Biotech
  • Identifying and generating new business to help achieve organic growth
  • Developing client relationships, understanding their insurance needs and providing a high level of service
  • Attending client meetings, both on‑site and off‑site, to strengthen relationships and discuss tailored insurance solutions
  • Representing the company at industry events and networking opportunities to build brand presence and identify new business prospects

About You

As a Commercial Account Executive, you will bring solid experience in commercial broking along with the enthusiasm and resilience to meet and exceed targets while delivering excellent client service. We will also consider experienced Account Handlers who are looking to step into an Account Executive position, where they can demonstrate strong client relationship skills and/or a track record of supporting sales success.

  • The ability to use your initiative, multi‑task and manage time sufficiently
  • Experience using Acturis (advantageous)
  • Experience in the Life science & Biotech sector (desirable)
