We have a fantastic opportunity for a motivated Account Executive to join the team at NCinsurance, part of the Jensten Group. You’ll be based from our office in Gateshead, and we offer hybrid working once settled into the role. Reporting to the Account Director, the main purpose of the role is to look after an existing book of business, to retain and grow/generate new business. The book of business mainly consists of general Commercial clients.
Responsibilities
- Offer and present insurance solutions including insurance policies and other risk management solutions, with purpose to secure renewal and/or new business.
- Identify and pursue cross‑selling, up‑selling and similar opportunities, utilising all leads provided and developing new and efficient ways to increase the quote volume.
- Achieve or exceed agreed volume of Quotes/Sales/Income generated from all marketing sources, including own personal prospecting activity.
- Understand client’s business operations, opportunities and risks and their approach to risk management and insurance.
- Ensure compliance with local procedures, customer service standards and external compliance regulations, e.g. FCA.
Qualifications
- Insurance industry background – especially Commercial.
- Passion and flair for new business, coupled with a strong history of retaining clients (essential).
- Great customer service and communication skills.
- Excellent telephone manner, able to network and build working relationships easily.
- Drive and genuine passion to learn and develop within Insurance and sales.
- Acturis system knowledge (ideally).
