Responsibilities
- Proactively identify, research, and engage with Commercial Insurance prospects to support growth through high-quality lead generation.
- Conduct outbound calls to prospects, qualify leads, and book appointments for Account Executives (AEs).
- Collaborate closely with AEs and attend regular sales and pipeline meetings to align priorities and share insights.
- Use CRM (Acturis) to record all prospecting activity and maintain accurate opportunity data.
- Monitor and report on call activity.
- Encourage and support all staff in identifying potential leads for follow-up, researching renewal dates, and adding to the pipeline.
- Maintain and update the opportunity pipeline in the office to track prospecting progress and team contributions.
- Deliver weekly reports on lead generation activity, including number of calls made, leads generated, appointments booked, and conversion rates.
- Ensure compliance with local procedures, customer service standards and external compliance regulations, e.g. FCA.
About You
- Insurance background preferred (Commercial ideally).
- Previous experience in a sales/new business generation type role (essential).
- Excellent customer service & sales skills.
- Excellent telephone manner, able to network & build working relationships easily.
- Drive and genuine passion to learn and develop within Insurance.
- Ability to use initiative, can multi-task, updating relevant systems and admin.
