Henry Seymour & Co (part of the Jensten Group) offers an exciting opportunity for an Insurance Advisor in Sutton. The team, comprising over 20 friendly professionals, is part of a growing company of around 1,000 employees. This role sits within the Digital Schemes division, supporting commercial customers across industries such as tradesmen, hair & beauty and business professionals.
Responsibilities
- Assess customers’ needs, answer general enquiries and provide suitable advice.
- Maximise renewal retention on allocated renewals and replace business where necessary to retain clients.
- Complete amendments and cancellations as instructed, assist with claims and resolve accounts and direct-debit queries.
- Deliver a high level of customer service, treat customers fairly and adhere to rules, codes of conduct and guidelines issued by the firm and FCA.
- Ensure all administration and paperwork is undertaken in accordance with company procedures and timescales.
Qualifications
- Strong written and verbal customer service and communication skills.
- Good understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Sincere interest in developing a career within the insurance/broking sector.
- Desire to work towards CII qualifications (ideally).
- Work experience in a professional office environment (advantageous but not essential).
