We’re now looking for a motivated Broker to join the Jensten Group. You will work within the Specialist division in the Healthcare team, focusing on medical malpractice risks - working with Retail & wholesale business & primarily working on new development and growth opportunities. The role is based from our Marlow House office in Central London (flexible with hybrid working options).
Some key objectives & responsibilities will include:
- Generating new enquiry leads using initiative & in-house functions
- Producing content for our website for our specialist areas and leading sales campaigns
- Working with the team to maintain a book of mixed Wholesale & Retail clients.
- Develop and sustain effective relationships with clients, and effectively analyse client needs and develop solutions.
- Respond promptly to client queries and ensure that all communications with customers and/or insurers or other business contacts are accurately recorded.
- Converting New business enquiries and hitting monthly targets set.
As one of our Health & Care Brokers, you’ll have excellent communication and written skills with a keen eye for detail & accuracy. You will be the type of person who wants to constantly develop, and you can expect fantastic career progression, training & development within the role and Insurance Industry in general. You will also be or have:
- Medical Malpractice insurance broking experience
- Proven demonstrable history of growing a book of business and winning new business
- Experience of working with Insurers
- Drive and genuine passion to learn and develop within our healthcare brand - Enhance
- Excellent telephone manner, being able to network & build working relationships easily
- Able to use initiative and can multi-task, updating relevant systems and admin
- Relevant qualifications (e.g Cert CII) or working towards (ideally)
- Acturis systems knowledge & experience (ideally)
