The Jensten Group is one of the UK's fastest growing insurance broking and advisory businesses, and we’re expanding our specialist offering within the Pharmacy sector. We’re now looking for a motivated and relationship driven Development Sales Executive to help broaden our reach across a large national network of Pharmacy businesses. You can be based anywhere in the UK, but regular travel to our Gloucester office will be important for product training, market understanding and ongoing development. You’ll also receive a car allowance, as meeting prospects face-to-face will be a key part of the role once you’ve secured initial leads. This is a high-impact, relationship-led position, ideal for someone with strong pharmacy sector credibility who can build rapport, open doors and convert long-term opportunities. While insurance experience is helpful, it isn’t essential.
Some key responsibilities include:
- Engage with pharmacy businesses to build awareness of Jensten's insurance offering.
- Conduct proactive outbound activity — telephone-first — supported by email and targeted marketing.
- Build strong face-to-face relationships with larger pharmacy groups and senior stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain a structured pipeline over multi-year sales cycles.
- Understand pharmacy-specific insurance needs and present Jensten's solutions confidently.
- Work closely with the Healthcare team (based in Gloucester) to align on campaigns, product knowledge and client insights.
- Keep accurate records of engagement and ensure timely follow-up with all prospects.
About You
As our Development Sales Executive, we’re looking for someone with strong commercial instincts, sector credibility and confidence building relationships with decision-makers. You may come from backgrounds such as: Pharmaceutical suppliers or wholesalers, Pharmacy membership, support or representative bodies, Business development.
