Are you a driven and experienced Commercial Insurance professional looking for your next challenge? Join One Broker, part of the Jensten Group, as an Account Executive in our growing Protection team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in expanding our presence in a dynamic sector, working with a supportive team and a respected name in the industry. You’ll have the flexibility to work on a hybrid basis from our Colchester office.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Manage and grow a portfolio of clients in the Protection sector (Employee Benefits including critical illness, death in service, medical insurance)
- Develop new business – mainly through business referrals and enquiries
- Identify and act on business development opportunities to attract new clients
- Cross-sell and up-sell relevant products and services to existing and prospective clients
- Present tailored insurance and risk management solutions to secure new business
- Understand clients’ operations, risks, and insurance needs
- Meet clients in person or via Teams to build strong, lasting relationships
- Ensure compliance with FCA regulations and internal standards, including Consumer Duty
What We’re Looking For
- You’re a confident communicator and natural relationship builder with a background in Employee Benefits.
- You’re motivated by success and committed to delivering outstanding service.
- You’ll ideally have:
- Proven experience in Protection insurance sales and client management
- Excellent communication and networking skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise effectively
- Cert CII qualification (or working towards it) – desirable.
- Experience with Acturis – desirable.
