Jenson Fisher are delighted to be partnering with our client, a dynamic and forward-thinking commercial business based in Glasgow to recruit an Interim Project Accountant to join their team on a full-time, fixed-term basis for six months. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a finance professional to contribute to a high-impact project, working within a collaborative and fast-paced environment. As a Project Accountant, your responsibilities will include: – Producing financial models and enhancing existing processes and procedures across the deparment. – Preparing budgets, forecasting, and tracking project costs to ensure alignment with financial objectives. – Work across the business improving understanding of the finance function to non-financial stakeholders. – Produce detailed financial reports, perform variance analysis, and provide insightful recommendations to support decision-making. – Liaising with stakeholders across the business, you will ensure financial compliance and provide accurate updates on project performance. The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with significant experience in project accounting or financial management. You will possess strong analytical skills and proficiency in accounting software, as well as advanced knowledge of Excel. In addition, you must be able to demonstrate a proven ability manage competing deadlines effectively alongside a confidence in your own priorities and direction. Our client offers a competitive salary of 40,000 – 50,000, depending on experience, and the chance to work initially on an exciting project that will make a real impact however does possess the potential to become a permanent appointment in the future.
