Jenson Fisher are delighted to be retained by our client, a successful and growing SME based in Dundee, to recruit a Finance Manager. As the Finance Manager, you will work closely with the Managing Director and senior leadership team, taking full ownership of the finance function and providing strategic insight to support business growth. This is a hands-on role suited to a commercially-minded finance professional with strong technical expertise and the ability to lead a small finance team.
The responsibilities of the Finance Manager will include:
- Lead the day-to-day finance operations, including month-end and year-end reporting.
- Preparation of management accounts, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow analysis.
- Provide financial insight to support strategic planning and commercial decision-making.
- Manage the audit process and maintain strong internal controls.
- Oversee payroll, VAT returns, and statutory compliance.
- Work closely with operational teams to drive performance and profitability.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team.
A fully qualified accountant (CA/ACCA/CIMA) or Qualified by Experience. In possession of proven experience in a similar Financial Controller role, ideally within an SME environment. Strong technically with a commercial mindset. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious finance leader to make a real impact within a dynamic and supportive business.
