Finance Business Partner in Bathgate

Jenson Fisher are delighted to be working with our innovative, commercial and recognisable client to appoint a Finance Business Partner on a permanent, full‑time basis.

The successful candidate may be a Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA, CA or equivalent) and will play a pivotal role in managing financial operations, providing expert financial advice, and supporting organisational growth through effective management and leadership. The Finance Business Partner will collaborate closely with senior management to develop financial strategies, optimise resources, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee financial management activities across the organisation, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Provide expert advice on financial accounting practices and ensure accurate reporting in accordance with statutory requirements.
• Manage relationships with external financial services providers, auditors, and regulatory bodies.
• Develop and implement organisational financial strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Monitor financial performance, analyse variances, and recommend corrective actions to senior management.
• Lead a team of finance professionals, fostering leadership and organisational skills within the department.
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal policies related to finance and management practices.
• Support organisational decision‑making by delivering insightful financial analysis and risk assessments.

As the successful candidate you will have extensive background in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning. You will have strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and practices alongside prior experience working within a commercial environment.
