Jenson Fisher is delighted to be working with an expanding organisation based in Glasgow, to recruit an experienced Accounts Assistant on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Purchase Ledger Assistant to join a small, friendly team. This role is office-based.

Responsibilities:

  • Input of high-volume transactions including orders, GRNs, invoices, and the matching thereof.
  • Liaise with operations staff to resolve discrepancies in goods received/invoiced amounts.
  • Processing of weekly supplier payment runs.
  • Supplier statement reconciliations.
  • Use of Excel spreadsheets for upload/reporting purposes.
  • Perform all other general administration duties as required.

Main requirements:

  • Previous purchase ledger experience.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Team player.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • High attention to detail.
