Jenson Fisher are delighted to be working in an exclusive, retained partnership with World Curling to recruit a Travel & Accommodation Administrator to join their headquarters in Perth, Scotland.
World Curling is the international sport federation governing the Olympic winter sport of curling and the Paralympic sport of wheelchair curling. World Curling is one of seven International Federations currently part of the Olympic Winter Games programme. In addition, World Curling is a Swiss registered company with its administrative office in Perth, Scotland. Working as a key member of the Operations team, the role of Travel & Accommodation Administrator provides the opportunity to be involved with various aspects of the work of World Curling and exposure to the inner workings of this sporting federation. This role will suit an experienced Administrator who has a strong background working in complex environments where your work is pivotal to the business meeting deadlines and objectives.
Responsibilities
- Providing support for the staff, officials and volunteers in arranging all aspects of travel to and from World Curling events.
- Supporting various internal colleagues ranging from Office Manager, Projects Officer and Competition Officer to Broadcast Production Managers in the arrangement and management of accommodation requirements.
- Support the Sustainability Commission their data collection requirements as part of World Curling's Sustainability Strategy.
- Support the DEI Commission in their data collection and monitoring activities.
- Support the Office Manager in other admin tasks as required.
- Work with department leads ensuring that business objectives are acheived.
Qualifications / Experience
As the successful candidate you must have prior experience working in a busy working environment where you have contributed to smooth running business operations whilst also working equally strong as part of a team or using your own initiative. You will be a strong user of systems, including Microsoft Office, and also be confident managing your own workload and prioritising your tasks.
