My client are a fast growing start up looking to change the face of financial advice and the way it’s delivered in the UK. They believe that a human adviser needs to be at the heart of every client relationship, however by leveraging technology they can empower their advisers to deliver higher levels of service and cut out a lot of the day to day admin that gets in the way. They want to build a game changer in the advice industry that delivers better customer outcomes, at a lower cost, for more people. Through customer‑centric advisers supported by innovative technology, they empower clients to go beyond just making smarter financial decisions to living the lives they dream of.

About the role: They have an opportunity for a brilliant Paraplanner to join their wonderful team. In this business, the Paraplanner is an elevated role compared to much of the industry where, rather than reporting into a financial advisor, you'll form part of the specialist planning team. You will be involved in all areas of financial planning and will be responsible for owning the end‑to‑end advice process, deciding the recommendations and curating the financial plans for clients, whilst helping shape processes and the way they provide advice for years to come. This role will excite those who are passionate about the industry they work in and seek to take on more responsibility within a forward‑thinking firm. They are a planning led firm that leverages technology to empower the planning team to focus on the important areas which need their expertise – creating fantastic advice for clients.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Creating brilliant advice for clients
  • Being a technical expert on all things financial planning
  • Cashflow modelling
  • Analysis of clients existing products and investments
  • Ownership of individual planning projects requiring technical expertise
  • Maintaining the pinnacle of standards of advice for clients
  • Designing and refining processes and ways of working
  • Working with the tech team to help remove admin and drive efficiency
  • Helping to train, support and manage more junior colleagues and admin support

Experience Required:

  • Minimum Diploma Qualified
  • 1 plus years' experience in a Paraplanning capacity
  • Comfortable with technology
