Jenson Fisher are delighted to bring to market an exceptional opportunity for a talented Financial Controller to join our client on a part time basis to form a key part of the head office function.

Reporting directly to the Head of Finance and working closely with the Chief Operating Officer, the Financial Controller will assume full control of the financial reporting delivery - including the production of monthly management accounts and maintaining a tight control on company cashflow and budget discipline.

In addition, you will be tasked with providing key, up to date financial information to the Senior Management Team whilst also working closely with colleagues to maximise financial efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities

On a daily basis your responsibilities will include

  • Production of monthly management accounts, with breakdowns and analysis on key business areas.
  • Variance analysis and management information pack.
  • Project analysis with a particular focus on cost and profit.
  • Budgeting, forecasting and cashflow management alongside the preparation of VAT returns.
  • Continuously improve financial processes and controls whilst maximising the use of systems.
  • Commercial framework governance reviews to maximise financial opportunities.
  • Monthly auditing of financial timesheet processes.
  • Provide commercial insight to support decision-making and business planning.
  • Work alongside the Finance Manager to oversee all day-to-day finance operations, including the accounts payable and receivable work conducted by the accounts assistants.
