Jenson Fisher are delighted to be partnering with our fantastic client based in Dundee to recruit a Finance & Payroll Assistant on a permanent, full time basis. Reporting into the Head of Finance, the Finance & Payroll Assistant will play a pivotal role in not only supporting with daily transactional processing across the business but prove to be a critical cog in their payroll function, collating all payroll data for on-site and off-site workers to pass to external accountants for processing.
You will be accurate and confident in your work with high levels of attention to detail alongside excellent interpersonal skills. You will work as part of a small team and there will be excellent opportunity for future development and progression.
On a day to day basis your responsibilities will include:
- Process invoices onto Sage system.
- Financial data entry using both Sage and Excel.
- Resolving any accounts queries from both internal colleagues and external customers.
- Monitor weekly timesheets and identify errors before they happen!
- Resolve any payroll queries from staff members or the external payroll provider.
- General accounts support and administration.
