As a Fire Engineering professional with Jensen Hughes, you will be an integral part of a dynamic technical team, alongside other teams including our Forensics division, on the industry's leading technical projects.

  • Supporting or leading the delivery of large and complex projects, ensuring successful outcomes for clients.
  • Developing and reviewing fire safety strategies across all building types in design, construction, and operational phases.
  • Contributing to or managing Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) modelling and other software tools such as CFAST, Pyrosim, and Pathfinder to provide alternative fire engineering solutions.
  • Carrying out fire safety surveys, inspections, and site assessments on a variety of projects.
  • Building relationships with clients and design teams, providing confident and clear technical advice.
  • Depending on experience, contributing to business development activities and helping to grow our client base.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • A background in fire engineering, ideally within a consultancy environment.
  • A Bachelor's degree or higher in Fire Engineering or a closely related discipline.
  • Experience levels from Graduate through to Technical Director will be considered.
