We are seeking a talented Fire Engineer to join our market leading Fire and Building Safety team in London.
As a Fire Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering fire safety strategies, undertaking fire engineering analysis, and providing expert technical guidance throughout the design and construction lifecycle.
You will work closely with clients, architects, contractors, and regulatory authorities to develop innovative and compliant fire safety solutions.

Responsibilities
- Develop fire strategies for a wide range of building types.
- Undertake fire engineering calculations and modelling.
- Provide advice on fire safety design and Building Regulations compliance.
- Review architectural drawings and assess fire safety implications.
- Conduct site inspections and fire risk assessments where required.
- Liaise with approval bodies, fire authorities, and other stakeholders.
- Produce high-quality technical reports and presentations.
- Be the expert to our clients and that all important first point of call.
- Lead discussion with the design team, building control and fire service.
- Attend industry conferences to network and embrace industry trends and best practices
Requirements and Qualifications
- A background in fire engineering preferably within a consultancy environment.
- A bachelor’s degree or higher within Fire engineering or similar such as Mechanical Engineering.
- Strong understanding of UK fire safety legislation and Building Regulations.
- Experience preparing fire strategies and technical reports.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
