As a Fire Engineering professional with Jensen Hughes, you will be an integral part of a dynamic technical team, alongside other teams including our Forensics division, on the industry's leading technical projects. Responsibilities:
- Supporting or leading the delivery of large and complex projects, ensuring successful outcomes for clients.
- Developing and reviewing fire safety strategies across all building types in design, construction, and operational phases.
- Contributing to or managing Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) modelling and other software tools such as CFAST, Pyrosim, and Pathfinder to provide alternative fire engineering solutions.
- Carrying out fire safety surveys, inspections, and site assessments on a variety of projects.
- Building relationships with clients and design teams, providing confident and clear technical advice.
- Depending on experience, contributing to business development activities and helping to grow our client base.
Requirements and Qualifications
- A background in fire engineering, ideally within a consultancy environment.
- A Bachelor's degree or higher in Fire Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Experience levels from Graduate through to Technical Director will be considered.
