We are actively seeking a number of experienced electrical technicians to join a leading provider and trainer of skilled personnel for wind energy companies to work on a significant offshore wind farm project. This will be on a 12 month rolling contract, with this project anticipated to last several years.
The successful candidates will be involved in the installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of advanced electrical systems, focusing on both Low Voltage and High Voltage.
- Previous electrical experience in the wind industry (preferably commissioning, authorised person, HV specialist, etc)
- Formal electrical qualifications (NVQ, C&G etc.)
Any training, accommodation, PPE & travel costs covered. ~2 Week introductory course to the specific turbines you will be working on based at the port, Mon-Fri, 9-5. Specifically assigned back-office team for technicians based 5 miles from site. In-person training paid at £20p/h.
