We are actively seeking a number of experienced electrical technicians to join a leading provider and trainer of skilled personnel for wind energy companies to work on a significant offshore wind farm project. This will be on a 12 month rolling contract, with this project anticipated to last several years. Applications are invited from committed technicians eager to progress their career within the wind industry and attain the status of Authorised Technician on our client's platforms.

The successful candidates will be involved in the installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of advanced electrical systems, focusing on both Low Voltage and High Voltage.

Requirements:

  • Previous electrical experience in the wind industry (preferably commissioning, authorised person, HV specialist, etc)
  • Formal electrical qualifications (NVQ, C&G etc.)
  • GWO BST, BTT, ART, EFA & HUET
  • Right to work in the UK

Benefits:

  • Any training, accommodation, PPE & travel costs covered.
  • 2 Week introductory course to the specific turbines you will be working on based at the port, Mon-Fri, 9-5.
  • Experienced commissioner to take candidates through the job role, what to do, not to do, systems used etc. This is paid at £26.50p/h.
  • Specifically assigned back-office team for technicians based 5 miles from site.
  • Manufacturer-specific trainings to be made available to quickly progress to authorised technician's status, as well as pathway to High-Voltage and Supervisor roles.
  • In-person training paid at £20p/h.
  • Healthcare cover - offering discounts on healthcare appointments, gym membership, therapy, virtual GP appointments, etc.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on an industry-leading platform whilst also providing you with long-term stability given the anticipated duration of the project. You will be supported with paid training, career development opportunities, and additional project work beyond this assignment. We are also able to offer a £250 referral bonus if you know suitable people who pass probation.
