Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer – FMCG | Leeds | £47,000 Per Annum | 4 shift rotating pattern – days and nights

Are you a Multi-skilled engineer ready to join a leading FMCG company based in Leeds? We are currently seeking a multi-skilled engineer to support the existing dynamic team.

About the role –

  • You will work on machinery such as Krones machinery, packaging lines, canning lines and labelling.
  • Attending to machine breakdowns, carry out planned and preventative maintenance activities.
  • Maintain site utilities and services.

Key responsibilities –

  • Support and manage site utilities and services equipment to optimise operation and maximize reliability.
  • Complete planned preventative maintenance activities in line with the site plan.
  • Carry out duties in a responsible manner giving due consideration to Health, Safety, Environmental & Quality procedures.
  • Full diagnosis and implement of corrective actions to minimise downtime.
  • Undertake machine start up and planned shutdowns as require

Suitable Candidate –

  • HNC in an engineering discipline or NVQ Level 3
  • Must be experienced within an FMCG environment
  • A strong multi-skilled background and able to understand the root cause of machine breakdowns and develop solutions.
  • Ability to work within a team and be a team player
  • Strong communication skills with a can-do attitude
