Join Jenrick as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer. This role is vital to maintaining production facilities in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment such as food or FMCG.
Base Pay Range: £53,500
Location: Leeds
Shift Pattern: 4-week rolling shift pattern / 6am‑6pm or 6pm‑6am
Shift Rotation:
- Week 1: Tuesday - Friday - nights, Saturday - Sunday - off
- Week 2: Monday - Tuesday - days, Wednesday‑Thursday - off, Friday‑Saturday - days
- Week 3: Sunday - Monday - night, Tuesday - off, Wednesday - Thursday - days, Friday - focus day (focus on what the team needs to do)
- Week 4: 10 days off, then the pattern repeats again
Responsibilities:
- Carrying out routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on production machinery
- Working with different teams to identify and resolve technical issues
- Ensuring all work complies with safety standards and quality procedures
- Conducting equipment checks and keeping accurate maintenance records
- Supporting the installation, testing, and commissioning of new equipment
- Providing technical support and guidance to production staff when needed
- Looking for ways to improve processes and boost operational efficiency
Ideal Candidate:
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent – ideally apprentice trained
