We are looking for an experienced Tendering Manager to support our team in Hull (hybrid working available) with a specific scope of work - pre-assembly of offshore wind turbines at a port. This is to work with an existing customer of over 10 years who now wishes to move to a fixed scope lump sum arrangement as soon as possible. A contracts & technical team is already in place, and we require an experienced commercial individual to guide the tender.
We require a contractor with a proven track record of commercially pricing, controlling and protecting the interests of a company whilst keeping the customer satisfied. Applicants should have the ability to be the architect of a commercial tool capable of building a price, specifying risk controls, etc.
Qualifications & Experience:- Solid experience in tendering and contract management in a commercial role
- Direct experience negotiating and closing deals with customers
- Strong understanding of industrial B2B contract law, procurement, and commercial terms
- Excellent negotiation, influencing, and stakeholder management skills
- Highly analytical with strong organisational capability
- Exceptional attention to detail on complex bids
- Confident communicator with strong written and verbal skills
- Previous experience of fixed scope lump sum work in wind turbine industry
